Appleseeds Behavioral Center - A Brief Look Back

Appleseeds Behavioral Center has been delivering quality, comprehensive ABA services and early intervention programs to children with Autism and their families for more than five years.

A leading Georgia-based autism clinic, Appleseeds continues their tradition of providing professional, compassionate care and treatment in an environment conducive to learning, comfort and results.

Background and History

Appleseeds Behavioral Center was first established in 2013, a time when most insurance coverage plans in Georgia didn’t cover Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Their initial mission was to provide children and their families access to high-quality, affordable ABA—largely because families were forced to pay for such services out of pocket.

But with the passage of Ava’s Law in 2015, everything changed. Under the new law, insurance providers were now required to cover ABA for children diagnosed with Autism—a change that led to Appleseeds eventual relocation from a 3000-sq.-ft. facility to an 8,000-sq.-ft. facility to better serve the needs of children and their families. This expansion included the addition of an Early Intervention Clinic.
