Appleseeds
Learning Center – a center for children with autism – was founded in 2013 to
make applied behavioral analysis, better known as ABA, more accessible to
families in Georgia. It has since expanded to better serve the ASD, or autism
spectrum disorder, community in Georgia, adding multiple locations and a more
diverse team of experts.
The ABA
therapy offered by Appleseeds Behavioral Center is designed as part of early
intervention programs. “Research suggests
that children with Autism should receive twenty-five to forty hours of
intensive ABA per week,” explains their website. “While this may seem like an extraordinary amount of time for a child,
this intensity of intervention has been shown to be the most effective in
addressing the needs of children with Autism.”
