If you choose Appleseeds Behavioral Center to provide your child
with Autism quality Applied Behavior Analysis services, it’s important to know
how to begin the treatment process—the steps that must be completed in order to
ensure everything goes as smoothly and seamlessly as possible.
When you choose Appleseeds Behavioral Center, be sure to get to
know each step of the treatment process, including:
- The
completion of intake paperwork, including the initial intake form, proof of
diagnosis and all applicable records.
- The
verification of benefits. The Appleseeds team will need to verify such details
as current insurance, the policyholder’s full name, the child’s full name,
child DOB, current address and phone number.
- Assessment
Authorization. The step at which Appleseeds confirms Autism diagnosis.
- Assessment,
which is performed by an assessment manager and can take up to 10 hours.
- Meeting
with caregiver, which includes a review by the BCBA.
- Ongoing
treatment—the actual administration of ABA services.
- Caregiver involvement and updated assessment (the latter is generally performed around six months into treatment).
