Appleseeds Behavioral Center has been offering high-quality
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with Autism and their families for
more than five years.
They continue to be one of the best resources of ABA
therapy and treatment to children on the Autism Spectrum throughout the state
of Georgia—an organization that makes effective treatment accessible and which
continues to expand operations to serve even more.
Important benchmarks in the history of Appleseeds Behavioral
Center include:
- Official opening in 2013.
- The passage of Ava’s Law in 2015, which mandated that insurance companies regulated by Georgia law provide ABA therapy to children with Autism.
- Relocation from a 3,000 sq. ft. building to an 8,000 sq. ft. facility in 2015.
- The addition of an Early Intervention Clinic in 2015.
- The expansion of ABA insurance coverage by the Georgia Department of Community Health for individuals under the age of 21 with ASD.
The
opening of two new locations in 2018 (Rome and Calhoun).
